# A Balance Within

A Balance Within

I’ve walked through days when shadows fall,

When the weight feels heavy, and dreams feel small.

But even then, I’ve felt it there—

A quiet spark, like a whispered prayer.

It isn’t loud, it doesn’t boast,

But it’s the part I lean on most.

Through storms that rage and skies that gray,

Somehow, it always finds a way.

The dark has tried to pull me in,

To magnify doubt, regret, and sin.

But every time, I’ve found my ground—

A light inside that can’t be drowned.

Good doesn’t mean I’ve never failed,

Or that every plan has fully sailed.

It’s in the trying, the steady fight,

The choice to love, to seek the light.

I’ve learned to see that both must stay—

The light that heals, the dark that sways.

The struggles shape me, the hope refines,

Each moment etched in the hands of time.

In every choice, I hear it call:

The chance to rise, though I might fall.

A kind word spoken, a hand outstretched,

A small reminder: I’m still blessed.

So here I stand, a part of it too—

The dark, the light, the me breaking through.

No path is easy, but this feels true:

The light will guide me, and I’ll renew.
