I’m in Paris, France.

It’s obvious because I’m standing in front of the Eiffel Tower. The structure is much taller on ground level. The street is busy with hundreds of tourists. There’s a constant chatter surrounding me that only seems to get louder. The sun is standing tall, its glare bouncing off of my eyes. The heat from it is no better, as my skin has already started to sweat. Going from an icy tundra to a steamy tourist trap...how funny.

I’m in front of a highway sign. The paint has chipped and the colors have started to dull, but I’m still able to read it. “Welcome to Ohio”. Underneath Ohio, I see the text, “So much to Discover!”.

Well isn’t that true.

So much to discover...so little time...it feels helpless.

ATD can’t stop it, yet they made the mistake. I’m the only one who’s able to cease it, but all attempts that I’ve tried are helpless. Thank god I’m not time hopping too.

I feel the wind against my back and the sound of pebbles skidding around the road. It clearly hasn’t been worked on in a while as cracks have started to overtake the cement. Even worse, there’s an obvious pothole that the cars keep sinking their tires into. Considering how many cars there are and how slow they’re going, it must be rush hour. What time is it anyways?

I’m on a beach shore. The water has already run over my feet.

I have no clue where I am. The sand is almost a perfect white, so maybe somewhere in the US? Then again, that color of sand isn’t exclusive there...not like it matters. The wind is calm. It’s a light breeze that balances out the suffocating heat of the air. It’s the perfect temperature, a nice break from the other climates that I’ve been forced to endure. I can hear the faint sound of cars, and the aggressiveness of the ocean waves. Most importantly, though, is the lack of chatter; that’s the loudest sound of all. It's calm. Just the sound of ocean waves crashing as the sun begins to set.

Ahh, the sun is setting. It certainly isn’t the USA then, as Ohio was well awake.

Advanced Transportation Development...yeah, that’s the full name. I keep forgetting the last word, but then again, only the first two matter.

Advanced Transportation.

Advanced my ass.

They get to keep living their life, while I’m stuck dealing with this broken trinket.
