# Requesting an Official Transcript

**If you need a copy of your student’s transcript to review their progress, you may generate an unofficial transcript via Sora Home. The unofficial transcript copy will mimic the same information on the official transcript.

**If you require an official transcript to be sent to another school or college you are applying to, please fill out our [Transcript Request Form](https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfXNv2JWLC55AaHn1lQoIV3_M0X0OUOr6U2mVbQ0KEludMuDA/viewform?usp=sf_link)** **,** specifying the e-mail address of the school secretary, admissions official, registrar, or counselor that you need the official copy sent to.

**Sora prefers to email transcripts to receiving institutions but, when required, will mail the official transcript to the receiving institution.**

**Official transcripts are sent on your behalf directly from Sora to the receiving institution or party.**

**Sora processes transcript request forms weekly.**
